Caitlin Childs
AUKA, Rambert Grades, First Aider*, LDA Contemporary Principle & Teacher
I have worked at LDA for over 12 years, gaining my exams in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Choreography and Theory before achieving my Associate Teaching qualifications in Ballet and Contemporary.
I then went on to do a Degree in Dance Practice at Plymouth University. During my degree I discovered my love for Release technique and performance & Choreography creative practice.
My next venture took me into the world of organising and facilitating local performances, festivals and showcases around Devon. After completing my training for Rambert grades Contemporary – focusing on Hofesh Shechter technique in London, I also took part in numerous workshops in Blackpool and Exeter.
I will always aspire to share my love of the art forms and the benefits they bring to both mind and body. I believe dance should be available and enjoyable to everyone regardless of age, ability, or background.
